Effective date: 2026-01-01. Please read carefully. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

Scope

These Terms govern access to and use of Northern Chimney Care services, including but not limited to inspections, sweeping, maintenance, repairs, and related advisory services across Canada.

Acceptable Use

Clients must provide accurate information, safe access to service areas, and refrain from abusive or unlawful conduct. Unauthorized recording of technicians is prohibited without prior consent.

Bookings

Appointments are confirmed upon written acknowledgment. Availability varies by region and season. We may reschedule due to safety concerns, emergencies, or severe weather. Remote and rural locations may require additional lead time or fees.

Pricing & Payment

Prices are listed in CAD. Taxes may apply based on province/territory. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated and may change if the scope varies onsite.

Cancellations

24‑hour notice required to avoid a cancellation fee. Severe weather exceptions may apply at our discretion. For multi‑unit or commercial jobs, 72‑hour notice is required.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling is subject to calendar availability. We will provide the earliest possible slot. Seasonal peaks may extend lead times.

Access & Safety

Client agrees to provide safe, unobstructed access to chimneys, appliances, attics, rooftops, and service panels. We may refuse or pause work if conditions are unsafe or noncompliant with codes.

Materials & Parts

Where repairs or replacements are required, we may supply equivalent or superior components meeting applicable standards. Manufacturer warranties apply to parts as provided by the supplier.

Liability

We operate with safety‑first standards. We are not liable for pre‑existing issues, hidden defects, code violations, or misuse of appliances. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Limited Warranty

Workmanship warranty is 90 days unless otherwise stated. Warranty excludes damage from misuse, improper operation, environmental conditions, or unrelated systems.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, labor disputes, or supply disruptions.

Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws. We do not sell personal data. See our privacy notices for details where available.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes should first be raised with our support team. If unresolved, parties agree to good‑faith negotiations. Where allowed, disputes may be subject to binding arbitration in the client’s province or territory.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the province or territory where the service is performed and the applicable laws of Canada.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
